Trip Overview

The Mustang mountain bike tour has gained significant popularity among mountain biking enthusiasts in recent years, offering not only a challenging ascent and numerous single-track descents but also a journey of discovery into a new world of experiences. Exploring Mustang by mountain bike is a unique adventure, showcasing the region's arid topography, ancient caves, Tibetan-influenced lifestyle and culture, breathtaking scenery, and historical forts. Following the trail of the ancient Silk Road, this tour is renowned as one of the best and most challenging in the world, promising an unforgettable journey.

An exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in both physical challenge and cultural exploration presents itself during the Teji Festival, held annually in May in Mustang. However, it's important to note that December, January, and March are not recommended for this tour due to potential snowfall and cold winds. The remainder of the months provides ideal conditions for Upper Mustang mountain biking adventures.
