Trip Overview

The Bhotekosi offers an exhilarating adventure, akin to navigating through nature's own amusement park. As the river rushes through steep canyons, it presents a relentless series of rapids, challenging even the most seasoned paddlers. Named after its origins in Tibet, the Bhotekosi provides an adrenaline-filled journey, with snow-capped peaks towering above.

This two-day expedition is not for the faint-hearted. It's a full-body workout as you navigate through narrow channels and dodge boulders, remnants of some mythical giants' contest. Each rapid is like a new level in a pinball machine, keeping you on your toes with its twists, turns, and plunges. Whether you're a novice seeking thrills or an experienced rafter looking for a challenge, the Bhotekosi delivers.

For beginners, fear not. With skilled guides leading the way, it's a fantastic introduction to rafting. But be prepared to paddle hard or embrace the possibility of a refreshing flip!

Timing is crucial for the ultimate Bhotekosi experience. The best seasons are post-monsoon from September to early December or during the spring thaw from March to May, with peak water levels in April and May. Consider combining your rafting adventure with a trek in the Annapurna Region or indulge in a jungle safari at Chitwan or Bardia National Park for a truly immersive experience.

In essence, if you're ready for action and eager for fun, the Bhotekosi beckons. It's not just a river; it's an adrenaline-packed journey that promises to leave you hooked on rafting for life.
